This workshop can be sponsored for the staff of your chosen charity or community group. It can be a gift to the teachers in your local school or you can give your own staff the opportunity to take good care of themselves.

Depletion and burn-out are all too common - this easeful, nourishing session creates space to rest and enjoy practices that will refresh and reenergise hearts and minds.

Self-care is not selfishness.
By taking care of you, you take care of me.

What does it looks like?

  • takes place during March 2020

  • room set up in a circle

  • up to 30 people

  • warm drinks and small snacks

  • introduction to practicing self-care

  • deep relaxation (guests can bring a yoga mat to stretch out)

  • guided practices on self-compassion and nourishing joy

  • sharing what helps to sustain and refresh us

  • the workshop is 3.5 hours (e.g., 9am-12.30pm or 1pm-4.30pm)

  • Orlaith will share follow-on resources to support practitioners

What does it cost?

Free to all attendees. Your sponsorship of the workshop includes:

  • hosting in your office or another venue

  • warm drinks and small snacks (e.g., breakfast pastries for a morning session)

  • contribution towards Orlaith’s facilitation (suggested donation €350)

About Orlaith

Orlaith teaches internationally on the practice of mindfulness and cultivating happiness. She is an advisor and host of the World Happiness Festival and is curator of the mindfulness & education strand of the festival. She has been involved in human rights and equality work for some years, and seeks to support front-line people so that they can be effective in their work without the risk of burnout.

These workshops are part of the World Happiness Festival 2020. The festival marks the UN International Day of Happiness on 20 March. The theme for 2020 is Happier Together.
