Guided practices:
SOBER breathing space
Guided practices help us to pause, rest, focus and deeply experience the present moment of our life. They remind us to come back to ourselves over and over, so that resting our presence in our body becomes a habit.
These recordings are offered freely, and donations really help make them possible. If you’d like to make a donation to support this work, you can donate via Stripe (white button) or via Paypal (blue button).
Wishing you much joy and ease in your practice,

SOBER breathing space
In this practice, we use the acronym ‘SOBER’ to interrupt our reactivity.
SOBER stands for:
S = Stop - draw yourself fully into this moment.
O = Observe - with kind eyes, notice what emotions and thoughts are present. There isn’t anything to fix - we’re simply witnessing.
B = Breathe - focus in to your body where you sense your breath. Follow it in and out. Any time your mind wanders, gently bring it home and reestablish your focus.
E = Expand - staying connected with your breath, expand your focus to fill your presence and observe again: has anything shifted or changed?
R = Respond - with openness and freshness, choose your next step!
This is good to practice first when we’re not overwhelmed or hooked - then our body trusts the practice when we are hooked.
There are two practices below - one that is fully guided and one that offers keywords to ‘SOBER’ with the bell.
May it offer space for your heart and mind when you need it.
